Mensagem:  About the verb “send for” see the example below, please:

“I think he’s really sick this time. So, he’s sent for us “ (send for somebody)

In the same way can I use “send for” like this ? (send for something):

I was needed the material urgently. That’s why I sent for it at the supply.
