Helen, What you're looking for is "coming UP tails" not "coming IN tails" and it means "a tossed coin to turn out to be either heads or tails". She tossed a coin, and it came UP tails. Heads or tails = cara ou coroa. Seriously, the other line of the song does mean literally "chasing our tails", like as in "the dog chases its own tail". : ) |
