In that context I would agree with the translation that it would mean "olhe para os céus e veja". It stated before "open your eyes" then "look up to the sky" the sequence (and the rest of the song) makes me think of literally looking up to. Other example of look up meaning "olhar pra cima/precisar olhar pra cima'' (quando conversa por exemplo): The New York times´headline (about the mayor Bill de Blasio) A Mayor Most Everybody looks Up To, Even When He Slouches. It´s a bit of a pun, because it could suggest that he being a big guy would command respect (impor respeito)...para a maioria pelo menos. But the person that read that on a search engine would find, afterwards that it´s literally about his height. |
