Not in this case, I think. "To your face" is a fixed expression, in such case the "to" wouldn´t be a particle from "wake up" (again, in this particular case.) The previous sentences "cause I´m keeping you forever and for always. We will be togheter all of our days"... suggests that she didn´t suddenly got aware of something, but that she wants to be togheter, in the (physical/visible) presence of him (and of each other). Anyway, the idiom does exist, it´s nice of you to bring it to the table, so we learn more and more. |
