Something that I often notice is the "Brazilian goodbye". It lasts about 15 minutes. To shorten it to a minute or two (which seems long to an American) is deemed insulting. The "Brazilian invitation" is also unique. It is difficult for non-Brazilians to know if it is sincere or just "bosta". :If the invitation comes with a map and/or lots of exclamations of "Really!", it is sincere, Maybe. kkkk |
