Pat, The soap opera's character Valdirene is a funny young lady that is hilarious due to her dumbness. She mispronounces many words. She wants to take part in the reality show BBB- Big Brother Brasil, so she says " eu quero ir para o big bodes brasil". The sense of humor here is that the word "bode" in Portuguese means the animal goat, so once she couldn't pronounce brother, which is a word very common here as a slang, she says big bodes instead of big brother. She always misunderstands things, for this reason ,there is also common talk between her mother and her that turns to be laughable : ---Valdirene, você é burra? ---Não maezoca, sou inteligência pura ! |
