"You'll be in dire straits _______ you stay _______ run away." Well, by the "rule" coming from this site: Either … or is used to talk about a choice between two alternatives. I understand that the above sentence isn´t about choice of alternatives. Unless, of course, you deem staying or running away choices. Yet I think as the end result is the same, the gaps would be filled by "wether-or". Anyway, this comment is just a kick-off, I appreciate further comments on the subject. By the way, a good question! |
