Eu queria saber se as palavras Operating e Operational têm o mesmo significado. Isto é, nos exemplos abaixo, eu posso usar qualquer um dos dois termos? Ex.: Processos Operacionais / Manual Operacional / Contas Cíclico-Operacionais, ferrovia operacional (em oposição à "ferrovia interditada"), etc. ===== Not really, operating have a certain ring of "in use/doing something/involved with the operation.", it have to do with the action itself. Operating have to do with functional (referente ao modo como algo funciona/princípios de funcionamento.) or that is not "out-of-order", something that´s working. So "operational process" would be the words to how and which processes are used in an given institution/corporation. = = = = = = = = = = Operational Manual - manual to say HOW you operate a machine, or WHICH procedures in a certain entrepeneurship (planning/operation/processes/operational details etc). ''A business or operational process is an organized set of activities or tasks that produces a specific service or product. The process of providing a haircut often has three main parts. First hair washing, then the actual cutting, and finally styling with a brush and hair dryer. I would say "railways in operation" -as opposed to an out-of-service/not in operation railway if it is for good. Or to a disruption/delay in non definitive way. Hope it helps. |
