Assunto:  Rir para / de
Mensagem:  I know that "to laugh at sb" implies that you make fun of sb. But how can I say "rir para alguém," which doesn't mean that you ridicule sb but you are just being kind.

Can I use the verb "laugh" with another preposition or is it better to convey this idea with a different expression?
