Turn up - chegar, aparecer.

    Turn out - chegar, comparecer, apresentar-se.

   Entries were found on the "Oxford Escolar", para estudantes brasileiros de inglês.

   It sounds, but I am not 100% sure, that "turn out" it is used in the sense of "chegar" but synonymous with "comparecer".

   Anyway, she does "turn up" in the music, chegou/apareceu in what way?    out of the blue - that is, chegou/apareceu de repente/do nada/sem aviso/inesperadamente  yada yada yada.
