Assunto: | MORE MUSIC - to Dale |
Mensagem: | Dale, you said "MUSIC WAS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO TO LEARN GRAMMAR". We know this, and we also know that most of the mistakes are made consciously. Like David Gates, in the 70's, when he wrote BABY, I'M-A WANT YOU. The question is: how does a native react when listening to a song with a mistake like this? People make mistakes both when speaking and composing. But I can't imagine to what kind of mistake it would correspond in Portuguese. There are mistakes that our ears accept, and others that they don't. |
