Your first sentence appears to be fine. For the second one, I would only suggest that you try not to start a sentence with the word "and." Are the documents being updated? (don't remember the exact sentence, just omit "and"). Or you can keep the "and" but combine the sentences, though the puncutation of all that can get a bit heavy per se.
